Sandy G. Toney, age 58, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 27, 2015 after a lengthy illness. She was born on Sunday, July 22, 1956 in Fayette, WV. Sandy and husband Ronnie moved to Lee County on July 4, 2001. Sandy worked as a CNA for 10 years and was also a member of the Gospel Tabernacle Baptist Church in Rose Hill, VA; pastor Joe Gilbert. Sandy was preceded in death by her father, Cecil Blair and her mother, Gussie Ward Blair; three brothers, Herman Blair, Thomas Blair and Larry Blair; two sisters, Earnestine Blair Sparks and Kathy Blair. Sandy is survived by her husband, Ronnie Toney of the home; one son, Timmy Toney of the home and two grandchildren, Dayla M. Toney and Tawni D. Toney. She is also survived by two sisters, Betty Blair Fisher of North Carolina and Brenda Blair Sheffer of Virginia; five brothers, James (J.C.) Blair and wife Hazel of Jonesville, VA; Kermit Blair and Tootie of Virginia, Darrell Blair and Shirley, Jerry Blair, Kenneth Blair and wife, Shelia all of West Virginia. Also special mom, Ruth Baumgardner of Rose Hill, VA and special friends, Dianne Gunneo, Kay Blankenship, Modena Thomas and Brenda King.

Visitation for Sandy will be held on Sunday, March 29, 2015 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. in the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Jonesville, VA. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, March 30, 2015 with Rev. Tommy Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at the Van-Huss Grove Cemetery in Rose Hill, VA. Pallbearers will be Timmy Toney, James Blair Jr, Dustin Blair, D.J. Dalles Raymond Branson age 62 of the Ocoonita Community of Jonesville, VA was born in Harlan, KY on Sunday, March 22, 1953 and passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Friday, March 27, 2015.  He had formerly worked as a diesel mechanic and had belonged to the Phi Mu Tau Fraternity.  He had been of the Baptist Faith and was an avid reader of the Bible.  He was also an avid fisher, hunter and woodworker who loved his family. He loved his grandkids and was proud of his grandson Christopher.He was preceded in death by his parents Faymous and Laura Branson, one grandchild Destiny Branson, two brothers Wallace Branson and Nolan Branson, one sister Juanita Goodin and one nephew that was like a son Charles King.Dalles is survived by his wife of 35 years, Nina Branson, four sons Dallas Floyd Branson, Wallace Branson (fellow baseball card collector) and wife, Katie of Jonesville, VA, Roby Branson, his (fishing buddy) of Jonesville, VA and Matthew Branson (who was his right hand man) and wife, Heather (that he loved like a daughter) of Woodway, VA, three grandchildren Lydia, Lillie Ann and Christopher Branson, his dog Trixie Sue who was daddys little girl, that misses him very much, four brothers Calvin Branson of Jonesville, VA, Walter Branson of Illinois, Dr. Dan Clem of Iowa and Carmen Branson of Illinois, two sisters Linda Hughes and husband, Kenny (who was his prodigal brother)of Illinois and Wilma King of Kentucky and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 6:00 PM Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at the Province Funeral Home Home Sanctuary in Pennington Gap, VA.The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Josephine Sergent Long age 89 of the White Shoals Community of Jonesville, VA was born in Jonesville, VA on Thursday, December 31, 1925 and passed away Sunday, March 29, 2015 at the Claiborne County Nursing Home in New Tazewell, TN.She had been a homemaker and of the Methodist Faith.She was preceded in death by her husband Brownell Long, parents Melvin and Grace Sergent, two sisters Inez Yeary and Linda Pendleton.Josephine is survived by two sons Melvin Long and wife, Harriett of Jonesville, VA and Clifford Long and wife, Shanna of Jefferson City, TN, three grandchildren Chris Long of Kingsport, TN, Miranda Long and Zane Long both of Jefferson City, TN, two sisters Virginia Shank of Anderson, IN and Jessie Long of Knoxville, TN.

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon Thursday, April 2, 2015 at the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Jonesville, VA with Rev.
